Preserving your precious flowers with B Impressed is a seamless and personalized journey. Follow these steps to transform your special event blooms into an everlasting keepsake, whether from weddings, memorials, baby showers, or birthdays.
What's the very first step to getting your flowers pressed?
The very first step is to email [[b.impressedfloralcreations@gmail.com]] to confirm my availability for your date! For wedding flowers, booking sooner is always better as wedding season fills up quickly. For memorial flowers, no date is needed – I will always make time. While I typically take one client per week, I understand that sometimes the need for this service arises unexpectedly, and I'm here to accommodate!!
How can I customize my floral keepsake?
You have complete creative control over your floral piece! You can choose your preferred frame color and finish, decide between horizontal or vertical orientation, and determine the overall style and placement of your pressed flowers. I will work with you, adjusting the final product as many times as needed until it's perfect, before it's glued down and finalized.
What happens after I place an order, and what do I need to do?
Once you place an order, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking (Venmo is often the easiest method for everyone!). After your date (or week) is confirmed, we’ll coordinate the drop-off of your flowers in Windsor Locks. If feasible, I can also meet most brides halfway to help save on shipping costs. As soon as I receive your flowers, I begin the pressing process immediately. I'll send you photo updates throughout, letting you know how things are progressing and when it’s time to start assembling your beautiful keepsake frame.
How should I prepare my flowers before starting the ordering process?
The fresher your flowers are when I receive them, the better the results. While I have successfully worked with flowers that were a week old, ideally, they should be no older than 3 days to preserve the majority of the blooms without significant wilting. For clients unable to drop off their flowers right away, the best advice is to trim at least 2 inches off the bottom of the stems and wrap them in a damp paper towel until we can meet. This helps keep them hydrated.
